Training Policy

ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING, GROUP TRAINING, AND ONLINE TRAINING POLICY

 

Please read through our Training Policy and ensure you fully understand it before purchasing. Upon enrolment of your Training Course, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If you have any questions, please contact lashliftsydney@hotmail.com prior to purchasing.

 

LASH LIFT SYDNEY / PERMANENT JEWELLERY SYDNEY complies with Australian Consumer Law regarding refunds.

We are not obligated to provide a refund if you have a change of mind or accidentally make a purchase. Assessing extenuating circumstances will be done by the Managing Director, and performed on a case-by-case basis. Their decision is final.

By selecting our service, you are granting us permission to use all images and videos associated with your project. This allows us to showcase our work and promote our services to potential clients. It is under the directors discretion to keep or delete all created. 
we simply cannot delete images based on change of mind or change or lifestyle as we incorporate images into our social media reels and websites and this cannot be undone. 

SECTION 1: IN-PERSON TRAINING RESCHEDULES AND CANCELLATIONS

1.A: CANCELLATION WITHIN 48 HOUR COOLING OFF PERIOD

Under the terms and conditions of this agreement, the student completing the training course is subject to a 48-hour cooling off period beginning immediately at the time of initial booking fee/deposit payment. The student may terminate the enrolment within this 48 hour period.

Online training programs are not subject to the 48 hour cooling off period as these are instant enrolment and start, with instant access to digital materials is provided. Lash Lift Sydney will process and refund any fees paid within twenty-one (21) days of receiving written notification of cancellation in the cooling off period.

1.B: CANCELLATION AFTER THE 48 HOUR COOLING OFF PERIOD

A non-refundable booking fee/deposit is paid at registration or upon enrolment. The remaining balance is to be settled in full prior to or on the day of the student’s first training session.

  • After the 48 hour cooling off period, the deposit/booking fee is non-refundable. However, it may be transferred in the case of rescheduling.
  • Cancellations of training courses made with less than 10 days’ notice to the first day of the student’s training course will be charged 50% of the tuition fee.
  • Cancellations of training courses made with less than 48 hours’ notice to the first day of the students training course will be charged 100% of the tuition fee.

Once training has commenced, there will be no refunds provided for the tuition fee, even if you choose to not continue or complete the training course.

1.C: RESCHEDULING

Any student is required to provide at least 10 days’ notice to reschedule their training course(s). Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the forfeiture of their deposit/booking fee.

Lash Lift Sydney will strive to reschedule to a date that works for the student and will provide at minimum 3 additional dates for the student to choose from. If the student cannot agree to a suggested alternate date, they will will forfeit their deposit/booking fee.  

1.D: RIGHT TO TERMINATION

Lash Lift Sydney reserves the right to terminate this enrolment agreement under the following conditions:

  • Failure to abide by regulations
  • Action upon a complaint by either Lash Lift Sydney employees or educators
  • Lash Lift Sydney reserves the right to cancel an enrolment or cancel training if the educator deems the situation as unsafe, threatening, or poses any risk to the educator and students health, safety, and well being.

Lash Lift Sydney reserves the right to cancel an enrolment at its discretion.

1.E: COVID-19 SICK NOTICE AND/OR SNAP LOCKDOWN

If a student is feeling unwell, or is sick prior to or during the training course, the student is required to notify the educator immediately. Lash Lift Sydney and its’ educators reserve the right to cancel and reschedule training dates if the student or trainer is unwell or ill on the day of training. Lash Lift Sydney and its’ educators reserve the right to refuse entry to any persons that arrive on the premises unwell or ill.

We try to accommodate as best we can. However, if due to the circumstances and we are unable to continue operating as per normal we will reschedule students enrolment dates. Those that are unable to reschedule will still receive their training kit if they have purchased one, and credit towards future services, goods and/or training course(s) on lashliftsydney.com

If the student's training dates are affected by a snap lockdown or they are unable to make the training dates due to COVID-19, we will do our best accommodate and reschedule your training dates to match your best availability. We do require as much notice as possible. If we are unable to meet a date to reschedule your training dates, you will be enrolled to our Online Training.

1.F: FORCE MAJEURE

In the event that Lash Lift Sydney cannot contract with you as scheduled hereunder because it becomes impracticable as a result of naural disaster, incapacity, labor controversy, riot, war, civil commotion, act of government, terrorism or other cause outside the control of Lash Lift Sydney, We shall have the right in its sole discretion to RESCHEDULE WITH YOU AS SOON AS REASONABLY PRACTICAL after the end of such force majeure.

In the event Lash Lift Sydney is prevented from performing obligations hereunder as a result of any contingency which is beyond the control of such party (such as unforeseen unavailability of Lash Lift Sydney), We reserve the right to reschedule training. If the minimum student requirement has not been met for group training sessions, Lash Lift Sydney reserves the right to reschedule.

 

SECTION 2: ONLINE TRAINING COURSES

2.A: CANCELLATIONS

Online training is instant enrolment, and instant access, therefore there are no cancellations permitted for any Online Training Courses purchased through Lash Lift Sydney.

2.B: REFUNDS

All payments made towards Online Training Courses are NON-REFUNDABLE. There will be no refunds given under any circumstance for the payments made towards Online Training Courses.

 

SECTION 3: PAYMENTS

3.A: DEPOSIT/BOOKING FEE

The terms “deposit” and “booking fee” may be used interchangeably, and refer to a partial payment of the full amount of the tuition fee.

The Booking Fee is used to reserve the date and time of the student’s training, and their seat at the purchased training. This fee is put toward the costs of the Professional Training Kit, Training Manual and Supplies, as well as organisation and preparation prior to the student’s training course which takes a considerable amount of production.

We understand life is busy and unforeseen circumstances can happen. As a result, the student may not be able to make it to one or any of the training dates. In the event of this happening the student may need to reschedule, rescheduling requirements have been outlined in section 1.C.

There will be no refunds provided for the deposit/booking fee. As previously stated, the deposit may be transferred to a new training date if the requirements in section 1.C have been met. Extenuating circumstances will be reviewed on a case by case basis, please contact lashliftsydney@hotmail.com if you would like your situation reviewed.

3.B: INVOICING AND PAYMENTS

All invoices sent by Lash Lift Sydney have a 24 to 48 hour settlement period. After this period the invoice will be cancelled. If cancelled, the training dates reserved for the student will become available to other students. Lash Lift Sydney Training prices are exclusive of GST, and you will see an added 10% GST on all invoices created.

3.C: REFUNDS

Refunds will not be given under any circumstance once the training has been completed. We have designed our courses to thoroughly cover all necessary information needed to safely perform the service being trained for. We also provide ongoing support if you are not fully confident in your ability. 

Change of mind regarding your desire to perform the service after completing our training does not warrant a refund. Lack of availability within the job market does not warrant a refund. These are things you should consider before undertaking any training with Lash Lift Sydney, as it is an investment.

 

SECTION 4: ON-THE-DAY

4.A: GUESTS

Lash Lift Sydney Training Courses have limited space an availability. We also strive to limit any distractions so our attention can be solely on you, and you can focus on your training! We please ask that you do not bring any guests with you to training, as they will be denied entry.

4.B: AGE REQUIREMENT

For insurance reasons, all students and models must be at least 16 years of age.

4.C: CODE OF CONDUCT

Lash Lift Sydney expects all students to be respectful of other students and Lash Lift Sydney educators. Any abuse will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave your training. No refunds will be provided. Any persons who appear to be intoxicated, disoriented, or under the influence of any substance will be denied entry or asked to leave. No refunds will be provided.

4.D: MODELS

All models must sign consent forms for liability and insurance reasons, and agree to photos being taken for training purposes.

All models confirm that the retention of lash extensions may not last as long due to trainee practice. Any mistakes made during the training by the student will be rectified on the day by the educator. However, if the model experiences any discomfort after 72 hours without contacting Lash Lift Sydney, We are released from all liability .

 

SECTION 5: LEGAL

If any student, individual or company founded by a student (current or past) defames Lash Lift Sydney, whether it be libel or slander, Lash Lift Sydney reserves the right to strip all certification and merits. Lash Lift Sydney also reserves the right to end all obligations, including but not limited to legal or contractual, with the student or person immediately.

 

SECTION 6: GENERAL RELEASE

As a condition of enrolment, I agree to be bound by Lash Lift Sydney regulations and policies. I agree that Lash Lift Sydney education and training or any successors, assigns and parties related in any way to Lash Lift Sydney on the condition that Lash Lift Sydney will not be responsible for (and I grant Lash Lift Sydney an Indemnity in respect to) any claim for personal injury, loss or damage whatsoever which may occur as a result of any act or an omission of Lash Lift Sydney and, or my attendance at any Lash Lift Sydney business or training premises.
